We feared the worst when we were called to reports of a dog that had fallen from the cliffs near Mothercombe. But when we put a crew member ashore to investigate we found a very scared, but fit and healthy terrier, Jet. He had been walking with his owner on the coast path above and had been on a lead, but he managed to tear his harness (quite literally!) and then misjudged the path. Thankfully despite the fall, we found him ok at the bottom of the cliff. And he seemed to enjoy his boat trip back to rendezvous with his owner at Challaborough!
